Chelley thrives on being an ensemble player, working in collaboration with others rather than competing. This stems from years of dance starting as a youngster (she's still tap dancing), where excellence comes through synchronizing rather than competing. This willingness to share the stage, allows her time for listening deeply and asking insightful and timely questions. Despite loving creative teamwork, you can count on Chelley to shine as a solo performer when the situation calls for a diva to deliver. She enjoys being heads-down when there is data to analyze and display, or when sketching a program arc for a people development project. She can also step into the spotlight and facilite large groups, keeping them leaning in.

Chelley leverages a strong network of strategic partners allowing her to adapt and scale -- to bring together the right team and solution for your unique needs.
Growing up next door to her dad's veterinary clinic, Chelley learned about work, life, and leadership by watching day-to-day interactions between an owner, his staff, and their two- and four-legged clients. She became a keen observer of human-oriented management and compassionate customer care. Chelley learned to appreciate ensemble work through years of dance and theater. Being too tall to be competitive, she served her high school gymnastics team as a spotter, choreographer, and statistician at meets. A job as an executive headhunter in her mid 20s exposed Chelley to the concept of employee commitment as she listened to countless reasons employees were either eager to leave their employers for greener pastures or could not be enticed to leave for any amount of money. A thirst to understand what some organizations were getting right and others were missing led her to pursue an MS in Human Resources & Organizational Behavior (OB) and go on for a PhD in OB. In the 30 years since that achievement, she's never tired of learning new skills and concepts to help her clients improve their leadership, teams, cultures, and performance!
